Easter Weekend at Warriedar

Brief:

This is a chance to have a drive around Warriedar Station and surrounds.
Camping will either be at the old homestead or out in the bush depending on what other groups are doing.

Those able to extend beyond the Easter long weekend will carry on with the Murchison Meander which will leave from Warriedar on Easter Monday.
12 Adults
3 Children
7 Cars

There will be a limit of 10 cars.
Bring everything required for a 3 night camp. There are NO facilities.

Camping fees apply for all overnight stays within Karara Rangeland Park. They can be paid online at Park Stay WA. More details of the area can be found on the Parks and Wildlife website https://parks.dpaw.wa.gov.au/site/karara-rangeland-park

Tracks may get scratchy as they have not been used for years. Some sections may have washaways. If a particular section gets too difficult we will turn around and try somewhere else.

We will visit Lochada (where the club did some work), the abandoned Rothsay Gold mine, Damperwah experimental farm and Mongers Lake Tourmalite Island
