At the July General Meeting, there was enough member interest in doing a Senior First Aid Course to justify a private course.  And I am sure there are other members who could not attend the meeting who will also be interested. This training is now called "Provide First Aid".  This course was last offered by the Club on 19 July 2015, so the qualification gained at that course will have now expired.  Time to refresh!

The course will cost of $99.00 per person for group of between 8 to 20 persons.  As the course is a private booking with RLSWA (Club members only), this cost will not need to be paid until the day of the course. Please note the maximum of 20 persons.  When that number is reached, the event will be closed to further attendees.

The Provide First Aid training course includes a cluster of three (3) Units of Competence (UOC) which include:
HLTAID001- Provide CPR
HLTAID002- Provide basic emergency life support
HLTAID003- Provide First Aid

Course Duration: Completion of a series of online training modules, (14 modules in total), taking approximately 2-8 hours to complete and a 1 day in-class practical assessment [on Sunday 15 September].  Please see the link below for your Online learning.  You must all register for the course and complete the online exam. You will be required to bring the certificate of completion on the day of the course:

You must have access to a laptop or desktop computer (iPad, or smartphones are not recommended) - Google Chrome or Firefox are preferred browsers to complete the online course.

For further details, please see the attachment to this event entitled "Provide First Aid online RLSWA".  In particular, please note the Entry Requirements, including the need to provide a "Learner Identifier" number prior to the commencement of the course (usi.gov.au to register).  This number must be entered below in attendance details.

Please also read the RLSWA Code of Practice, whch is also an attachment to this event.  Other RLSWA policies can be found at:
