Staun Tyre Deflator
by Tony Richards

While I was at the 4WD Show, I ending up buying a Staun tyre deflator for around $16.00. They actually come in packs of 4, but I didn’t want 4, not at $64.00+ for the pack. So Jim Wilcox bought a pack, he kept 2 and Alan Jackson and I ended up with 1 each. After testing the deflator earlier in the week, to make sure it deflated the tyres to the correct (desired) pressure, it worked a treat at Lancelin.

Simply screw on the deflator to the valve, wait til it stops hissing and the job is done, quickly and efficiently, with no need to keep checking the pressure with a tyre gauge.

The Staun website provides you with additinal information.

They are fully adjustable
Each valve has an adjustment range of 30psi down to 6psi
They are easy to use, not requiring any tools
They are highly accurate, deflating to within 0.05psi of the preset pressure they have been adjusted to
They are the smallest tyre deflators available measuring only 30mm x 15mm (1.18" x 0.6")
They are one of the lightest deflators weighing only 32 grams (1.13 ounces)
They are made of 100% brass
They are the fastest deflators on the market (tests found a normal 10rx15 tyre takes approx. 1 minute and 30 seconds to deflate from 32psi to 18psi) Every valve is completely pre-tested to ensure high performance
They are covered with a 5 year guarantee
They can be used for all types of four wheel driving ranging from coastal sand driving, desert sand driving, rock climbing to mud driving.
